Introduction
ART FILLER LIPS FILLMED is for a correction that fits the dynamic area of the lips volume and lips contour. ART FILLER LIPS has a very soft texture and, thanks to its smoothing capacity, is best for fine and superficial wrinkles, and ideally contours the borders of the lips. It can also be used in combination with other FILLMED products.
LIPS is a viscoelastic cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel of non-animal origin gradually absorbed over time. It is colourless, transparent, sterile, non-pyrogenic and saline and contains a 0.3% volume of lidocaine hydrochloride for its anaesthetic properties. It is available in a pre-filled and single-use 1ml syringe. Each pack contains 2 LIPS syringes, 4 sterile and single-use 27G½´´ needles intended for injection of LIPS, a product leaflet and 4 traceability labels. In order to guarantee traceability of the product, one of the two labels must be affixed to the patient file and the other must be transmitted to the patient.

Technology
1. WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID ?
Despite its harsh-sounding name, hyaluronic acid is not a caustic, harmful substance but a molecule that occurs naturally in the human body. It is one of the main components of the extra-cellular matrix within the skin.
This molecule has excellent water-holding capacity (it can retain 1,000 times its own weight in moisture) and helps to give the skin youthful plumpness and tone. So, it really plays an important role in “supporting” the skin and this is why we witness many changes as we age, when the level and quality of the hyaluronic acid in our body decreases. The skin loses its elasticity, becomes drier and less plump. By replenishing the declining levels of the body’s naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, fine lines and wrinkles can be corrected and skin density restored.
2. TRI-HYAL® TECHNOLOGY

4 TEXTURES : 4 POTENTIALS OF CORRECTION
Application
Injection is done into the upper layer of the dermis:
- fine and superficial wrinkle filling,
- reshape the contours of the lips,
- increase lip volume,
- treat wrinkles around the mouth,
- rehydrate the lips,
- correction of a disproportionate upper or lower lip size.
Remanence
Due to the high content of cross-linked long chains of hyaluronic acid, ART FILLER LIPS FILLMED can last for longer than other lip fillers. Nevertheless, the cosmetic injectable will be absorbed by the surrounding cells as it is biodegradable. Patients can obtain more lip augmenting injections once the volumising effects wear off. Inform them that the results vary on an individual basis.
Contraindicated
- hypersensitivity to one of the components,
- skin infection near the site of injection,
- patients susceptible to keloid formation,
- pregnant or lactating women,
- allergy or anaphylaxis,
- bleeding disorders,
- autoimmune disorders,
- antibiotic therapy.
