HITOX 100U | High Purified Botulinum Toxin Type A Complex | Better Botox Injections

Introduction 

HITOX® is a complex of type A botulinum toxin indicated for temporary inhibition of nerve impulses to the muscle(s) to be treated, resulting in cessation of muscle contraction. It is, therefore, very effective against dynamic wrinkles, which are a result of an overactive muscular activity, like Glabellar lines or so-called frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.

Each vial contains

• Active ingredient: Clostridium botulinum toxin type A 100 units(U) (Korean Minimum Requirement for Biopharmaceutical Product) 
• Stabilizer: Human serum albumin 0.5mg (Korean Minimum Requirement for Biopharmaceutical Product) 
• Isotonic agent: Sodium chloride (USP) 0.9mg

What is the content of package?

In the package, you’ll find a glass ampoule containing pressurized powder. Although the ampoule may seem empty, dilute the powder with saline before use. For 100 units, add 2.5 ml of saline; for 200 units, add 5 ml of saline.

Application

Fast and Effective Wrinkle Removal & Contouring

• Correction of wrinkles caused by facial expressions on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and on the décolleté area
• Treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
• Restoration of a smooth skin surface
• Correction of blepharospasm (involuntary blinking or eye twitching)

Reconstitution and Dilution Technique

1. Using an appropriate syringe, draw nonpreserved sterile saline (see dilution table below). 0.9% Sodium Chloride is the recommended diluent.
2. Insert the needle and slowly inject the saline into the NABOTA vial in which a vacuum is present.
3. Inject slowly and avoid forming bubbles.
4. Gently mix lyophilized NABOTA until it is completely clear and no particles are visible.
5. Record the date and time of reconstitution. The solution should be administered within 24 hours after reconstitution.
6. Reconstituted products should be stored in a refrigerator (2~8℃).

Indication and Usage

Temporary improvement of forehead lines associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adult patients between 20 to 65 years old

Upper limb spasticity after stroke in adult patients above 18 years old

The unopened lyophilized vial should be stored in a refrigerator (2~8℃).

Liztox is supplied in a single-use vial.

The shelf-life is 24 months from the manufacturing date.
