4th Generation Cryolipolysis for fat freezing

The treatment principle of Cryolipolysis is based on the scientific fact that triglyceride will be solidified under 4°C, through the non-invasive headpiece to transmit the cryo effect to the localized fat reducing part, the cooled fat cells begin a process called "apoptosis" and begin to shrink. These damaged fat cells are slowly digested over several months by our bodies and removed through the liver. This technology is highly effective and is producing consistent results for local areas of fat like the love-handles or 'man-boobs', though larger areas of fat may require more invasive treatments. There is no damage to other tissue types. According to clinical researches, cryolipolysis can reduce the thickness of fat layer by 25% just within 2-4 months. 4th generation Cryolipolysis technology combines Vacuum Suction, Blue Photon and Cryo functions in one applicator offering selective, precise and effective treatment. Fatty tissues are held into the chamber for selective cryo treatment without harming nerves or blood vessels. What's Cryolipolysis technology?
Cryolipolysis，also called CoolSculpting or coolshaping is a new, FDA approved, fat reduction alternative to liposuction for people with a small amount of fat that resists diet and exercise. CoolSculpting is a totally non¬invasive, in-office procedure that uses Cryolyposis to target, freeze and permanently eradicate fat cells.

How does CoolSculpting work?
This fat reduction technique works through a method called Cryolipolysis for the selective targeting and freezing of the fat cells in the treatment area. The procedure is performed using a small cooling device that is placed on the area to be treated for approximately 1-2 hours. After feeling some tightening and pressure on the treatment area initially, the area then becomes numb and nearly unnoticeable to the patient. Patients may work on their laptop, read, listen to music or even nap while the procedure takes place. The CoolSculpting system targets and freezes the fat cells in the area being treated, thereby, destroying the fat cells which are then absorbed and eliminated naturally through the body. There is no downtime and patients may return to their daily routine immediately, including work or their normal fitness routine.

Is cavitation fat reduction treatment safe?
Yes, cavitation treatments are non-invasive and non-surgical. Cavitation technology has been studied and used for over 30 years for many biomedical purposes. The technology has been FDA approved in the USA. The treatment is painless and has no downtime.

Who is the candidate for the procedure?
SlimOne treatment is very suitable for people with fat. It is not a suitable treatment for those who have less than 1cm depth of fat in the area to be treated. In addition, it is not suitable for those who are pregnant, have a blood clotting disorder, a history of cancer and related conditions or cardiovascular devices fitted eg. pacemaker.

Does cavitation/RF treatment hurt?
The level of discomfort experienced will depend on the area that is being treated. The feeling has been described as a prickling, warm feeling with some squares treated being more uncomfortable than others. Immediately after the treatment the area will look red and may feel tender.

Will my skin sag after the fat has gone?
As only a small area of fat is being treated, the amount of fat being destroyed and liquefied will not be enough to create sagging of the skin. There is also some evidence to suggest that the heat of the treatment itself does cause an element of skin tightening.

What happens to the fat in the treated area?
The destroyed fat cells at the treated area are reabsorbed by the body over the following 12 weeks. The dead fatty cells are naturally eliminated from the body, permanently removing the damaged fat cells from the body, leaving a slimmer waistline.

How quickly will I see results?
It is not unusual for the results to take up to 12 weeks to be fully seen and the treated area will likely go through various changes in texture and feel during that time. The area can often feel doughy or jelly-like and many patients initially experience an increase in urination. All of these changes are quite normal and will eventually settle down.

How long do the results last?
As long as additional weight is not gained, the fat cells will not return to the treated area. The treatment will not prevent new fat cells from developing and the patient is encouraged to continue with a balance of healthy eating and exercise to maintain the results.

Are there any side effects?
Short term effects can include mild bruising or redness. There is also a risk for mild, superficial burns in a very small percentage of the population, but these are exceedingly rare. If you have any concerns, please be sure to ask your therapist during your free consultation.
