What is Shockwave?

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves creating a series of low-energy acoustic wave pulsations that are directly applied to an injury through a person’s skin via a gel medium. What Is EMS?

EMS “Electrical Muscle Stimulation” is an internationally accepted and proven way of treating muscular injuries. It works by sending electronic pulses to the muscle needing treatment; this causes the muscle to exercise passively. When the muscle receives this signal, it contracts as if the brain has sent the signal itself. As the signal strength increases, the muscle flexes as in physical exercise. Are there consumables?

Yes, the bullet is consumables. There's a lifetime for bullet inside handpiece. So it needs to be replaced once it's finished. 2 bullets are included in the package.

What is the expected lifespan of each bullet?

Each bullet lifetime is 2~3 million shocks, you can also check the shocks used through “Total Impacts” on screen.

Is the machine complicated to set up properly and run?

The machine is simple to use with pre-sets for each function. All the presets are just recommendations from the factory, and you can also set up parameters as you prefer.

Is it electromagnetic or pneumatic?

It is an electromagnetic shockwave therapy system for this model

Do I need to apply gel first in the target area before using this machine?

Yes, the gel is needed during treatment. The machine does not come with gel. The gel is the normal type and you can easily get it in your local market.

For ESWT treatment, how to manipulate the Frequency and Energy to get the best results?

Suggestion 1: 10Hz Frequency, 150mj Energy, 1000~1500 shots per session, 3~4 sessions as a course, 3~4 days sessions interval.

Suggestion 2: No fixed Frequency or Energy, set up the parameters based on patients’ tolerance to the shock intensity and your handpiece pressing intensity. 5 sessions as a course and 3 days as sessions interval. Treat twice for each session and 2000 shots each time.
