Why does our skin lose elasticity and start to sag?
Even with a healthy lifestyle and minimal sun exposure, our skin gradually loses its firm, youthful look. Aging, cumulative sun exposure, multiple pregnancies, and weight fluctuation are all factors that affect the strength and elasticity of the collagen fibers in our skin. This, in turn, causes wrinkles and sagging skin.

What is the RF depth-8 technology?
The RF Depth-8 technology is an advanced fractional microneedle RF technology that enables fractional skin resurfacing and treatment of wrinkles and scars. RF Cell Max energy is fractionally delivered to the skin via an array of micro-electrode pins. RF Depth-8 creates small zones of treated tissue in the epidermal areas which are in direct contact with the microelectrodes and deliver deep heat into the dermis. The fractional manner leaves intact zones in between the targeted areas which serve as a pool of cells reservoir that promotes a faster more effective healing process. In the epidermis, the affected spots result in small scabs that shed off the skin after a few days, leading to an improved skin tone and texture. In the dermis, treatment induces remodeling of dermal collagen (neocollagenesis) and other dermal components. RF Cell Max treatment enables safe, tolerable, and effective skin rejuvenation.

What should I expect during treatment?
40° C (hot shower temperature). Your skin temperature will be constantly monitored. Depending on the size of the treatment area, treatment may take between 30-45 minutes. The treatment is relaxing, pain-free, and carries no side effects.

How long does RF Depth-8 treatment take?
The topical anesthetic cream requires 20 to 30 minutes to take effect before treatment, and then the treatment takes 20 to 30 minutes, including aftercare. So, each session requires approximately 1 hour.

How many treatments are required to see the results?
According to your treatment program, your physician will offer a series of treatments, up to six, in intervals of one to two weeks. You should start to see improvement in your skin following the second treatment and additional improvement will gradually appear as the treatment course progresses. As new healthier collagen is formed, tighter, more natural-looking, and firmer skin will be produced. The gradual improvement in your skin will continue even after the completion of the treatment series.

Is the RF Depth-8 treatment painful?
With the correct application of topical anesthesia, it is virtually painless. It is also possible to treat to a 1mm depth without topical anesthesia.

How long is recovery after RF Depth-8 treatment?
You may experience transient erythema in the treated areas for 3-4 hours initially. Occasionally, a fine scab will be formed on the skin – do not be concerned, this is an expected part of the healing process.

Are there any precautions after RF Depth-8 treatment?
Avoid cleansing until after the erythema has resolved itself. Cleanse your skin with cool water and dab or pat lightly with a towel. Avoid hot water. Sunscreen should be applied every day to protect your skin and you should limit sun exposure during the treatment course.

What side effects can I expect?
After the treatment, the skin may look sunburned, with large areas of redness. This redness usually fades within a few days and can be covered with makeup.
